I LOVE to KNIT

This is not just a pastime for me - rather it is a ridiculously fulfilling endeavor. I design and create sweaters, hooded jackets, waistcoats, dresses, and blankets for babies and toddlers in the time honored manner - with knitting needles. As I'm finishing one - I am deciding in my mind which style and color my next will be!

I marvel at the realization that each and every stitch is intertwined with the rest, and many times each part of a sweater (the back, front, sleeve) is one continuously spun length of fiber.

I love the feel of the yarn through my fingers and the rhythm of the needles clicking as I loop each stitch.

Best of all I love the satisfaction of finishing a little sweater and seeing a chid wear it to warm and cloak their little body against the cold.
