The Knitting Continues....
Summer is Coming
but.....
the knitting continues. I'm always knitting something or designing a new stye, and trying out new patterns and textures to incorporate into the design of my classic sweaters for babies and toddlers.
I rarely knit for myself....however, I did make a woolly bulky sweater this winter just for me.
My current project is based on an historic fishermen knit pattern I found in St. Ives. These patterns were passed down in families through generations in Cornwall, Wales and Scotland and known as Gansey or Guernsey Sweaters.
It's now finished in the natural color....
and I'm working on the same sweater in light heather grey. This sweater will be offered in size 2 Toddler only on a limited basis. It is a classic that is perfect for little girls or boys. It is tedious knitting but I love the finished product.
As always, I used the finest quality 100% USA grown and spun yarn that is soft, durable, and washable.
You can always check the website to see all of my classic designs
