My Brain Craves Knitting
Where Do These Ideas Come From?
You may wonder where I get the ideas for my original designs, but there isn't an easy answer. Sometimes I grab some yarn and just begin knitting by picking a size and by using the general dimensions for a cardigan. This is almost like play for me. It gives me the freedom to experiment with new stitches and patterns. Other times I percolate an idea around in my head until it comes together and then I start knitting. And then, every once in a while, I dream about a design and the stitch pattern and the next day I make notes so that I won't lose the idea.
My brain craves knitting.
As long as my hands allow, I will be knitting, creating Baby Sweaters by L'Agneau.
